    One of the largest local produce markets on the Northern Rivers the Lismore Farmers Market is held every Saturday morning at the Lismore Show Ground. The markets get underway around 8.30pm (most stalls are set up before then) and the official closing time is 11.30. Lately the markets are so busy many of the stalls go through to noon.
    On rain or shine the entire markets is undercover. There is plenty of parking on the Show Ground site.
    You can start the morning with a coffee from Ron Coffee Man (a Lismore Institution) followed by a great cooked breakfast.
    You can buy your entire weeks supplies here. All the region's fruits and vegetables as well as pork, dorper lamp, seafood, great cakes, candles and even organic dog food.
    Prices are very competitive.
    And it's a no rush experience with a live music experience featuring local musicians every Saturday.
    Well worth the visit.

    The Lismore farmers market is a great way to shop, ensuring plenty of fresh, locally produced fruit and veges make their way into your diet. There are also plenty of quality specialist stalls, like pet food, fermented goodies, quality soap and giftwares. It's a top place to meet with friends for a coffee to the sounds of great live music, while the kids run about in a safe environment.

    A collection of local farmers and producers.. A great place to meet up. Have a coffee, watch the band and take home fresh tasty food.

    Lots of stands to buy fruit & veg, but not much variety to stop by for anything else. I guess it could do with a bit more food stalls to attract people who are seeking to have breakfast or a quick snack there.
